Lucia joined Jumia in 2018 as Head of Operations Excellence, Jumia Services in Ivory Coast. One year later, she stepped up as Country Manager for Jumia Services in Ivory Coast, where she built strong and healthy operations that helped to develop faster growth in the country. Lucia then moved on to Regional manager for Logistics in Ghana, Senegal and Ivory Coast, where she managed very large operations and led successful projects around cost efficiency, upcountry expansion, and support to commercial development. Prior to joining Jumia, Lucia worked in different Supply Chain roles in Frankfurt (Germany) and Paris (France) mostly in the Danone Group. Lucia has a civil engineering degree from Ecole Polytechnique in Madrid (Spain) and a specialization in Supply Chain Operations from Ecole de Mines de Paris (France).
