Renaud Mathieu

Group Head of Tax

Renaud Mathieu has been the Group Head of Tax at Jumia since 2017, where he brings extensive expertise in tax law and strategic tax management. Prior to joining Jumia, Renaud built a distinguished career starting as a tax lawyer at Ernst & Young France, where he worked from 1999 to 2012. He then transitioned to the Oil & Gas industry, serving as a regional tax director from 2012 to 2017. Renaud holds a master’s degree in Tax Law from Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne and is a member of the bar. His profound knowledge and experience in the field have been instrumental in driving Jumia's tax strategy and compliance.
