CEO of Jumia Senegal

Lionel joined Jumia in 2014 and was COO for Jumia Cameroun till 2019. He had a short stint as Operation project manager for six months at Jumia Senegal in 2017. Lionel was the COO for Ghana till 2021 before leaving for Gozem, a ride-hailing super App company operating in french African countries, where he was Country Manager for Benin. He returned to Jumia in 2023 as CEO of Jumia Senegal. Prior to that, Lionel worked in the Procurement, Logistic and Shipping industries across central Africa (Cameroon, Chad, Congo & Central African Republic). Lionel holds a Master's degree in Supply Chain Manager from Catholic University Saint Jérôme in Cameroon.
