Liès-Paul Mollard

Liès-Paul Mollard began his professional career in logistics and international transport, spending seven years in Paris as a Project Manager at DB Schenker. During this time, he worked on international transport operations and strategic projects, building a strong foundation in logistics, supply chain management, and operational excellence. In 2018, Liès-Paul moved into entrepreneurship in Algiers, taking on the role of Chief Operating Officer at a B2C and B2B ride-hailing startup. Under his leadership, the company grew to become the second-largest player in its market. He later ventured into e-commerce, launching a marketplace in 2020 and overseeing its product development from the ground up, including the establishment and management of an in-house technology team. Liès-Paul joined Jumia in 2021 as Chief Operating Officer, where he brought his extensive experience in operations, logistics, technology, and entrepreneurship to one of Africa's leading e-commerce platforms. In 2023, he transitioned into the role of Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO), taking on responsibility for strengthening and advancing Jumia's supply chain and logistics capabilities. Throughout his career, Liès-Paul has developed broad expertise across logistics and supply chain management, e-commerce, operations, product development, technology, and business strategy. His experience spans both established global organizations and high-growth startups, giving him a strong understanding of how to build, scale, and optimize complex operations in dynamic markets. Liès-Paul holds a Master's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the University of Versailles.
