Marcelle joined Jumia in 2014 as acquisition captain in Jumia Cameroon and took different positions before she became Head of Category from 2017 to 2019. She went on to pursue other endeavors for a few years and came back to Jumia in 2022 as CCO of Senegal and then relocated to Kenya in 2023 to become the CCO of Jumia Kenya. Marcelle holds an Executive Master's in Digital Marketing and E-Business from HEC Maroc.
