Group VP Operations

Thibault joined Jumia in 2019. Initially overseeing the Vendor Experience of Nigeria, Egypt, Kenya, Morocco & Ivory Coast, he extended his regional scope to all the other Jumia countries in 2020, focusing on building a fairer and more efficient relationship between Jumia and its vendors. In 2022, he further took over the Customer Experience department, ensuring both vendors’ and customers’ voices were equally heard, and leading transformational projects aiming at enhancing their experience with Jumia. In April 2024, Thibault was appointed Group VP Operations, leading the Operations department across all Jumia countries. Before joining Jumia, Thibault worked in Ho Chi Minh City with foodpanda (Rocket Internet) in 2015, closely supporting the Vietnam Country Manager on strategic projects involving Commercial, Content, Marketing & Operations teams. He then worked with Amazon in Paris from 2016 until 2018 as Vendor Manager, in charge of growing the portfolio of retail suppliers, and leading several operational projects across multiple European countries. Thibault holds a MSc in Management from ESCP Business School (France), with a specialization in Internet of Things & Entrepreneurship
