Group Head of Internal Control and Risk

Triin has been Group Head of Internal Control and Risk as of 2022, she has led the transformation of her teams into data-driven functions that are benefitting from and promoting process automation. In 2024 Triin added ESG to her scope and is currently building the foundations for Jumia's sustainability initiatives. She joined Jumia in 2014 to set up the business intelligence function for the supply chain teams and thereafter for the group. Prior to joining Jumia, Triin spent 3 years setting up and leading a social enterprise in Morocco as well as leading operations for an upcycling textile startup in Estonia. Triin started her career in ERP related roles in banking in the Baltic and later Nordic region. Triin holds a BSc degree from the leading business school in the Baltic region, Stockholm School of Economics in Riga. She completed her MBA at HEC Paris in 2010.
